The Photonic Technology Centre (PTC) was set up in 2006 and is under the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

PTC is actively involved in R&D and services related to photonic based telecommunication devices, system and technology.

We have received numerous awards at local and international level. 3 of our products have already been patented and 1 is still in process.
